- Electrolytic capacitors replaced with new Vishays. These are high quality to ensure they will last for many years and have a similar blue colouring to the originals.
- Addition of ULA heatsink (removal of ULA socket and soldering of ULA directly to the motherboard).
- Fully dismantled and cleaned, including the rubber key-mat and case. (Full dismantle; Clean of case and key mat in warm soapy water followed by deep clean – particularly of the rubber key mat – with isopropyl alcohol; clean of motherboard and connector)
- ‘ZX Spectrum’ white paint touch up.
- Full diagnostic ROM check, keyboard test, soak test for minimum of 1 hour and game load and play test.
